Set over 5 levels, Rosewood West Perth offers 152 fully furnished private suites that differ in size, amenity and features.
Each suite resembles a mini-hotel room for each resident, with spacious en suites, walk-in robes, and modern-styled furniture. Award-winning Sentida 6 aged care beds by Wissner Bosserhoff were chosen to provide a delicate balance of clinical function and style to create a cosy homely feel.

These spacious suites offer older couples an elegant and comfortable retreat.
Sentida 6 partner beds were custom manufactured to provide individual care for couples who want to continue sleeping side by side.
The Optimal 5zon pressure care mattresses from Care of Sweden were chosen to complement the Sentida beds. Clinically proven to provide effective pressure care and resident comfort, these pressure care mattresses are equipped with a patented DuoCore sit function, designed to give support when sitting in bed and provide good comfort when lying.
Anti-shear inner covers enhance user comfort and skin integrity protection. The cover is autoclavable to temperatures up to 95°C and comes with a very well documented hygienic standard. Being a sustainable product, the Optimal 5zon is produced from modern, recyclable materials and meets health care requirements for hygiene, quality and safety. The covers have side handles to meet multi-story evacuation requirements, eliminating the need for evacuation sheets.
Other healthcare furniture, such as Regency care chairs, was supplied in burgundy and grey to match the interior design of the residence.
The Regency care chair is packed full of clinical features including a tilt-in-space seat, reclining backrest and a fully padded leg rest. It offers infinite positioning options and a Multicush Pressure Management Gel Seating System that provides effective pressure injury care.
The equipment selection process for Rosewood West Perth involved careful clinical considerations and trials to ensure that functional and innovative features of furniture and equipment respond effectively to both individual resident and caregiver needs.
Bath and Toileting Solutions for Aged Care
Shower Chairs and JUVOcare shower commodes were selected to assist with resident’s showering and toileting equipment needs.
Manufactured using 304 grade stainless steel, these durable commodes are designed to withstand extensive wet area use. They are highly adaptable commodes designed to be easily custom configured to suit the needs of individual users
Project Delivery
The Rosewood West Perth project required months of planning and meticulous coordination to make sure that materials, supplies and equipment from local and international suppliers arrived on time.
Unicare Health was involved in the design phase from the start, working with the Rosewood projects team to match residents’ clinical needs to the aesthetics of the interior design.
To provide Rosewood West Perth with a streamlined equipment delivery solution and to minimise installation work on site, all furniture, fixtures, and equipment were unboxed, assembled, tested, tagged, and stored in our Bentley warehouse before being transported to Rosewood in stages to accommodate the fit-out progress.
Ongoing Equipment Support and Maintenance with Unitrax
Ongoing equipment support and maintenance is managed by Unitrax – Unicare’s very own cloud-based asset management system.
Care staff can report any equipment issues by scanning a unique QR code, which informs Unicare’s support department about what equipment requires attention, where the equipment is located, its service history, and other information. This saves care staff time and effort in looking for a serial or model number or describing the problem over the phone. Care staff can upload photos and videos, view user manuals and even troubleshoot problems with technicians over video chat.
Unitrax has also proven to be an invaluable tool for aged care providers to monitor equipment value, track service histories, keep tabs on maintenance costs, as well as prepare budget and audit reports.
