One of her most notable achievements is the success of Unicare's #stopthepressure initiative, a dynamic campaign that increases awareness of pressure injury prevention and treatment.
This groundbreaking initiative has had a widespread positive impact on pressure injury care and was recognized as a finalist for Outstanding Achievement in Injury Recovery at the 2021 Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Awards.
Empowering Older Australians
Pearl's commitment to improving the lives of older Australians is evident in her work around Unicare's #safeseniors campaign. This initiative connects older Australians with accessible education about assistive technology for home care, supporting healthy aging and independence.
As a result of her community-centered marketing direction, Unicare received the WA Age-Friendly Business of the Year award in 2022, presented by the Council on the Ageing (WA) and the Department of Communities, in recognition of outstanding contributions towards bettering older people's lives.
Building on the success of #safeseniors, Unicare's marketing team has since developed another community-based program, #mobilitychitchat, to further promote Unicare's safety-at-home initiatives.

A Passionate Foodie and Busy Mum
As a passionate foodie, Pearl delights in trying new restaurants with her family and friends, sharing in the joy of delicious meals together. At home, she is the "boss" of what she refers to as a "somewhat-organised-household" of four and supermum to two high-achieving teenagers. On Saturday mornings, Pearl enjoys indulging in a flaky almond croissant and a good coffee at an artisan bakery. When the weather is fine, she loves nothing more than going on a long, leisurely walk to relax and recharge. Pearl's ability to achieve professional excellence while raising an active family, is truly inspiring.
