Day Hospitals Australia is the leading industry body for the day hospital sector. Day hospitals are medical facilities where patients are admitted and discharged on the same day for surgical, diagnostic, or medical procedures. Common treatments include Renal dialysis, Cataract surgery, Colonoscopy, Chemotherapy, Retinal procedures, Gastroscopy, Dental procedures and more.
This conference allowed us to connect with over 300 delegates and provided a valuable platform for networking and collaboration. We enjoyed discussing new hospital projects and showcasing our range of equipment innovations.

Contour Recline E-Vertex: This innovative procedure chair, designed and manufactured by Modsel in Australia, is the world's first fully electric procedure chair with a touch-control adjustable power headrest for ease of operation, access, and patient comfort.
Its design allows surgeons to achieve close proximity to surgical sites, making it ideal for eye, ENT, plastics, and dental surgeries.
Contour Recline: This is a versatile procedure chair designed to streamline examinations, procedures, and recovery. Its smooth, gap-free platform enhances cleaning efficiency and prevents fluid ingress, meeting high infection control standards.
The chair features a long-lasting, fast-charge battery that keeps it operational throughout the day. With its adaptability, the Contour Recline is popular in various medical settings, including Day Surgery, Recovery units, Fast Track ED & Cardiac units. The chair's design allows for easy patient positioning, from sitting upright to full recline.
Electric Contour Classic Stretcher: This stretcher features a twin column design that allows for various height range options, accommodating different needs from patient egress to surgeon access. The stretcher can be tailored with different top sizes (shorter, longer, narrower, or wider) and dropside styles to suit specialized procedures or patient types.
Electric push handles allows for easy maneuverability, with little physical effort required for moving and handling. It provides a high level of customisation with many accessory mounting options and solutions.
Denver Patient Recliner Chair: A comfortable lift and recline chair, the Denver Chair includes a pressure management seating system. It has limited seams for better infection control and comes in various colors to match modern healthcare decor. The chair features an easy to use handset, USB charging ports and a drop-down side table, making it popular for general ward use and patient recovery. It also features a slide-out footrest that allows the patient's feet to be positioned comfortably when moving the chair from room to room.
We also showcased our popular range of carts and stainless steel trolleys. These products are designed with soft-close drawer runners for quiet operation and LX external drawer handles that provide a comfortable grip, making them easy to clean and maintain for optimal infection control. Additionally, they are equipped with large medical-grade castors, ensuring effortless maneuverability throughout any medical facility.
