Unicare wins best marketing at the biggest assistive living industry event in Australia

The ATSA Independent Living Expo is the biggest assistive living industry event in Australia. It is an annual event that takes place in a different Australian state each year.
Supported by the Independent Living Centre of Western Australia, ATSA Independent Living Expo Perth was held at the Claremont Showgrounds on May 30-31 this year.
More than 70 exhibitors participated in the 2-day event. These included local businesses, countrywide distributors, international manufacturers and non-for-profit organizations.
It is the first time Perth has seen such a large display of assistive technology equipment and services for disability and aged care under one roof.
ATSA Perth attracted more than 800 allied health professionals and visitors who were eager to be better informed about the range of modern day assistive technology products and services available in the industry.
Unicare Health had a remarkable time exhibiting at the expo, showcasing the latest in pressure mattress technology, mobile shower commode design, developments in aged care equipment intelligence and more.
Day 1 – 30 May 2018
Day 1 at ATSA Expo saw hundreds of enthusiastic therapists, healthcare professionals and members of the community eager to get to know our new assistive products.
It was lovely to see hundreds of familiar faces turning up at our booth to say Hi. The Unicare Health team had an enjoyable time catching up with suppliers, therapists and customers from all over Australia who came specially to attend the show.
The all-new Juvo mobile travel commode was a highlight from the first hour, with lots of enquiries and interest received through the expo and many customer demonstrations lined up.
The new line of pressure care mattresses from Care of Sweden that has been gaining worldwide attention for its superior design, quality manufacture and pressure distribution properties was also a hit, with lots of therapists and well-informed participants stopping by and wanting to learn more.
Day 2 – 31 May 2018
Day 2 at the ATSA Expo was a rainy, windy and stormy one but that didn’t stop the crowds from making their way through our booth.
Our demonstration of Wissner Bosserhoff’s Sentida 7i– Australia’s first intelligent nursing bed stole the show and won the crowd, with its intelligent safety features, integrated mobility and ease of patient care functionalities. As Australia’s leading aged care equipment specialist, we are very proud to be the sole distributors of this award-winning bed in Western Australia.
The all-new Forte 320 patient lifting hoist featuring an impressive 320kg safe working load has also become a talking point and industry buzz from its debut at the show and we thank Cameron Salter – General Manager at Allegro Concepts for coming all the way to Perth to be a part of its launch in Western Australia.
Unicare Health Wins Best Marketing Award
A highlight for Unicare Health at the ATSA Independent living expo was winning the best exhibitor marketing award.
“To have won best marketing from a level playing field of 70 other exhibitors at the expo has been a great achievement for us. It is a triumph for our marketing team and a testament to the quality of communication, our industry reach and standard of marketing work we deliver at Unicare Health. “
