Our presenters were delighted to meet the warm and welcoming community at Brightwater Kingsway Court Retirement Village, where we delivered our crowd-favourite #safeseniors presentation. This interactive session showcased assistive technology products that can truly make a difference in seniors’ lives.
What are the risks of being pushed around in a seat walker, or using a plastic garden chair in the shower? What kitchen tools are available to help prevent cuts and burns? Our star presenters showcased handy gadgets to address common safety risks and help seniors around the home. Let’s take a look!
Food Preparation Station
Firstly, food preparation can be challenging for people with limited hand strength or dexterity. So, our presenters demonstrated a convenient food preparation station, featuring ergonomic design and easy-to-use features. This station simplifies kitchen tasks, allows for safer food handling, and gives you the power to keep making your meals the way you like them.
Likewise, the Uccello tip kettle makes it easy to pour hot water safely and without risking a spill. That’s because the lightweight design and rotating cradle allow for easy pouring without lifting or straining.
