Aboriginal Health Conference 2026

We're thankful to have been invited to the Aboriginal Health Conference 2026, delivered by Rural Health West in partnership with WA Country Health Service.
This conference brought together medical professionals, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare organisations committed to improving Aboriginal health and wellbeing across Western Australia.
The Aboriginal Health Conference 2026 provided an important opportunity to hear from delegates delivering healthcare across regional and remote communities.
Pearl and Fiona spoke with teams from regional hospitals, aged care homes, disability and community care providers, and therapy groups supporting communities across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest, Goldfields, Wheatbelt, South West and Great Southern.
These conversations helped us better understand the challenges healthcare teams can experience when accessing equipment and coordinating services across regional and remote locations.
Unicare’s focus at the conference was on conversations around access to Unicare’s products and services for people living in regional and remote communities.
Pearl and Fiona brought a selection of Unicare product catalogues to introduce delegates to our range of assistive technology products and free trial services.
The catalogues introduced delegates to Unicare's range of hospital beds, patient-handling equipment, pressure care products, mobility and seating equipment, and bathroom and toileting solutions.
They also spoke to delegates about Unicare’s broader services, including equipment supply, in-situ delivery, equipment hire, repairs, spare parts, education and ongoing product support.
These discussions gave delegates an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about available equipment and explore how Unicare may be able to support their organisation and clients.
It was wonderful to meet delegates that already work closely with Unicare and were familiar with our products, services and team. We were also pleased to build new relationships with healthcare professionals involved in assistive technology selection and service delivery across regional and remote Western Australia.
Every conversation strengthened our understanding of the different environments in which healthcare teams work and the needs of the communities they support.
