Unicare Makes Its Debut at ATSA Sydney 2026 ✨

ATSA Independent Living Expo Sydney
Sydney Showgrounds
Sydney Olympic Park
13 May – 14 May 2026
The ATSA Independent Living Expo is one of Australia’s leading exhibitions for assistive technology, rehabilitation and aged care equipment, bringing together allied health professionals, carers, support providers, seniors and people with disability to explore the latest innovations in the industry.

For the first time, Unicare Health proudly exhibited at the ATSA Independent Living Expo Sydney, marking an exciting milestone for our growing presence on the east coast.

Having presented at the WA ATSA show for many years now, the Unicare team was excited to officially debut at the Sydney expo and connect with healthcare professionals and customers from across New South Wales and beyond. ✨

The bright pink Showroom at Home™ van quickly became a standout feature on the Unicare stand.

With its doors open throughout the expo, visitors were able to step inside and experience firsthand the sheer volume of assistive technology brought directly to Showroom at Home™ appointments across WA and NSW.

Promising care and a good night’s rest, the Xcel 3 Pro bed paired with the Care of Sweden CX20 Plus mattress to demonstrate a complete pressure care and comfort solution.

Designed with both clinicians and end users in mind, the Xcel 3 Pro combines modern styling with advanced electric profiling functionality, while the CX20 Plus mattress delivers superior pressure redistribution and user comfort.

The Carer pressure care chair also drew strong interest from attendees throughout the event.

Developed to withstand the demands of both residential and community care settings, the Carer Pressure Care Chair combines high-performance clinical functionality with contemporary design.
Featuring a tilt-in-space seating system, the chair delivers exceptional pressure care, optimal comfort and improved postural support in one versatile solution.

Alongside it sat the Quickcare Pro chair, the latest in procedure chairs that offers a supportive and versatile seating solution suited to a variety of care settings.

A fleet of Juvo Shower Commodes rounded out the stand, showcasing trusted hygiene care solutions designed to improve safety, dignity and functionality in everyday care routines.

Adding to the excitement of the expo, Unicare Health’s Focused Educator in Bathroom Mobility, Crystal Chan, presented an educational session exploring pressure care in shower commode prescription.

The session highlighted the importance of seating principles, positioning, stability and comfort within shower commode prescription.

Crystal also explored the hygiene and infection control considerations associated with commode use, emphasising the importance of practical design features that support both safety and clinical outcomes.

Over the course of the expo, the Unicare team connected with healthcare professionals, occupational therapists, support coordinators, providers and end users from across Australia.

As our first appearance at ATSA Sydney, the response exceeded expectations and reinforced the growing demand for innovative, client-focused assistive technology solutions nationwide.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who visited the Unicare stand, shared conversations with our team and experienced the excitement of our Sydney debut.

We look forward to continuing to build relationships within the NSW healthcare community and returning to future ATSA events. ✨
