The Tasmanian Digestive Centre (TDC) opened on Saturday 4 October 2025, as a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility committed to improving community lives through holistic, patient-centred digestive care. Recognising a gap in access to specialist digestive services in Northern Tasmania, the team set out to create a dedicated centre focused on high-quality care.

Unicare Health was delighted to meet with TDC’s clinical management team early in the project to gain a deeper understanding of their clinical equipment requirements, and to discuss how we could help bring their vision to life with the right equipment in place from day one.

With the ability to source the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) required for the project, Unicare Health provided a streamlined “one preferred supplier” approach, saving time and helping simplify decision-making throughout the fit-out process.

Unicare supplied a comprehensive package of clinical equipment for the project, including medical carts, stainless steel trolleys, treatment tables, patient trolleys, linen skips, preparation trolleys, IV poles, wheelchairs, and more.

We also supplied our equipment calculator, enabling TDC to easily adjust equipment quantities as the project progressed.
