Our friends at Senses WA have opened a new Centre of Excellence Hub in Armadale.
This new state-of-the-art facility serves as a Service Hub for Perth’s south-east suburbs.
The hub features a therapy gym, fully accessible kitchen, therapy rooms, office spaces, and a beautiful sensory garden funded by Lotterywest.
Senses WA is Perth’s leading not-for-profit organisation, providing community disability services to over 1200 children and adults every day.

In the accessible change room, the Luna ceiling hoist is combined with a powder-coated aluminium ceiling track system to achieve a low visual profile, optimal span distances, and ease of installation.
The Luna ceiling lift is designed for wet environments, allowing for safe transfers in bathrooms without the risk of failure if the unit is showered with water.
The Alrick Montar wall mounted change table introduces space-saving efficiencies and blends in seamlessly with the accessible change room environment.
It has an electric Hi Low feature, a padded vinyl top, battery backup, a magnetic handset that attaches to any metal surface on the change table, drop-down safety rails, and a powder-coated frame that is durable for use in wet areas.
In the therapy gym, the Luna ceiling hoist was chosen to assist with transfers and physical rehab.
When the gym is fully equipped and functional, therapists will be able to use the hoist in a safe and controlled environment to perform a variety of exercises such as strength, balance, and functional training.

Luna can be installed on a variety of ceiling track systems, straight and curved tracks, turntables, and track changers, and can be easily configured to suit a variety of situations.
