Our vision for the Assistive Technology Collaboration Centre is simple: we want it to be a welcoming, stylish, and inclusive community hub that elevates your assistive technology experience. It’s not just a typical showroom – think of it as a place where you can come to experience, get inspired, learn, work, and connect. Whether you’re a seasoned allied health professional or just dipping your toes into the world of assistive technology, there’s something here for everyone.

Experience Hub
When you first step into Unicare, our friendly team will be there to greet you with a smile. They’ll guide you into our premier showroom, which we call the Experience Hub. Why? Because you are encouraged to feel, try out, and get familiar with the assistive technology that helps you experience life to the fullest. Getting to know your equipment gives you the confidence to decide what’s right for you.
You can join a tour led by our customer care team, who will show you around and answer any questions you may have. Or, if you prefer, you can explore on your own and take your time to discover our many helpful resources. Immerse yourself in our premier Experience Hub and find the right equipment for trial, hire, or purchase. We invite you to enjoy a complimentary Nespresso coffee while you browse.
Scripting Studio
Within the Experience Hub you’ll discover a private meeting room called the Scripting Studio. Here, you can chat with one of our scripting specialists, who are ready to support you with personalised care and expertise. With their help, you can rest assured knowing that your scripted solution is uniquely tailored to your comfort and care. Project Planning Gallery
Beyond the Scripting Studio you’ll step into a stylish walk-through display of aged care rooms, hospital rooms, and changing places facilities created by our award-winning designers. Here you’ll discover how state-of-the-art assistive technology can be integrated into modern, elegant, and seamless room designs. If you’re planning your next architecture or design project, explore these beautiful and functional spaces to inspire your creativity.
Clinical Training Lab (coming soon)
For allied health professionals, our Clinical Training Lab awaits. Take part in seminars, workshops, and Q&A sessions to ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in assistive technology. Our expert clinical educators will provide you with in-depth, personalised information about the things that matter most to you, whether it’s beds, seating, or shower commodes. Sign up for one of our acclaimed training sessions to stay informed and confident with the equipment you prescribe.
Community Engagement Runway
Our Community Engagement Runway is all about helping people stay safe and independent at home. We unicare about building senior communities who are intelligent about Assistive Technology through our award-winning campaigns. Led by our inspiring clinical educators, this includes our renowned Safe Seniors program, plus tips and tricks about fall prevention, home safety, and more. Since most of these campaigns are designed to travel, we offer to host them at your location, at your convenience. Talk to us about arranging a presentation for your community.
Allied Health Partner Lounge (Coming soon)
Travel upstairs from our Experience Hub, and you’ll discover a complementary co-working lounge. Between client appointments that take place in our Experience Hub, occupational therapists and physiotherapists can work, unwind, and network in this friendly area. We encourage you to take advantage of our facilities and enjoy free Wi-Fi access. Our team is always close by and happy to help answer any questions you may have.
The Wacky Room
Looking for a space to discuss assistive technology plans? The Wacky Room is conveniently located right outside our Experience Hub. Named after our founder, Bill Dartnall (AKA Wacky), this vibrant space is where therapists and community care coordinators can discuss assistive technology with clients. After you’ve explored our stunning range of assistive technology, grab a complimentary Nespresso coffee and settle into the Wacky Room to discuss your findings.
