Every year, Unicare Health supports Cancer Council’s fundraising efforts by hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
The Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer, from research to prevention and support.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is Cancer Council’s most popular fundraising event and the largest, most successful event of its kind in Australia.
The funds raised from morning teas across Australia helps the Cancer Council provide much-needed support services for people impacted by cancer. It also provides funding for life-saving cancer research and state-wide education and prevention programmes to empower our community to reduce their cancer risk.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is an annual, much anticipated fundraising event at Unicare Health. This year, we’ve raised the bar and set our fundraising goal at $1000.
To sweeten up the morning tea fundraising challenge, our bosses offered to reward everyone with Krispy Kremes when the goal was reached!
The whole office participated – not just in eating, but also donating generously to the cause and putting their MasterChefs hats on to create an amazing table of treats.
Our morning tea this year was again an amazing display of teamwork and a tremendous effort put together to reach our fundraising goal.
Unicare Health is thrilled to have been able to share the care and support the Cancer Council to help save lives in a fun and rewarding way.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a great way to raise the awareness of cancer and much needed funds for Australians living with cancer.
We trust that our donations will make a difference to those who are struggling to battle cancer, to receive the support they need.
