Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Every year, Unicare Health supports Cancer Council‘s fundraising efforts by hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
Since 1994, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea has brought together millions of Australians over a cuppa in support of those affected by cancer.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of this fantastic event – the largest and most successful of its kind in Australia.
Last year alone, 2,600 West Australians hosted a morning tea, raising over $1.3 million to help Cancer Council continue working towards the vision of a cancer-free future.
The funds raised from morning teas across WA helps the Cancer Council to continue providing much-needed support services for WA families affected by cancer. It also provides funding for life-saving cancer research and running state-wide education and prevention programs to empower our community to reduce their cancer risk.
Unicare Health is glad to have been able to support the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea event to help save and improve lives in a rewarding way. Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a great way to raise the awareness of cancer and raise the much needed funds for Australians living with cancer.
Cancer Council’s latest estimates show that by 2040 the number of Australians with a personal history of cancer will increase by 72 per cent. This means that in the coming years, cancer services and support will be needed more than ever before.
“Hosting a fundraising morning tea every year for the Cancer Council is our way of ensuring that no one in our community has to face cancer alone. So let’s raise a cuppa and do this together.”
