Product Overview

The EquaGel Protector Cushion is a pressure-relief seating cushion designed to improve comfort and protect skin during extended sitting. Made from 100% EquaGel dry-polymer gel, it helps distribute body weight evenly and reduce pressure on sensitive areas such as the hips and tailbone.

The cushion features a two-stage gel grid design, with a soft comfort layer on top and a firmer support layer beneath to provide stability and posture support. A contoured pelvic area further helps spread pressure and maintain proper seating alignment.

An open-cell structure allows airflow through the cushion, helping keep the seating surface cooler than many foam or air cushions. The removable cover is vapour-permeable and fluid-resistant, supporting hygiene and easy cleaning.

The bottom layer contains a thicker wall gel with a wider grid, offering deep posture support.
When weight exceeds the threshold, the gel walls buckle and distribute the weight evenly. This allows the user's pressure points to sink into the support layer, while maintaining good posture.
The cushion cover's is water-resistant and vapour permeable with a Velcro strip to securely fasten the cushion to your wheelchair.
