The Ansa Tourer Transit Lightweight Wheelchair 460mm is a practical mobility aid designed to provide safe, comfortable and convenient transport support for individuals with reduced mobility, injury recovery or long-term mobility limitations. Manufactured from robust lightweight aluminium, this transit wheelchair features a compact folding design for easier transport, storage and everyday use across home care, aged care, rehabilitation and healthcare environments. The wheelchair includes a fold-down backrest, swing-back removable full-length armrests and swing-away height-adjustable leg rests to support safer transfers and improved user comfort. Durable washable nylon upholstery with padded seat and backrest enhances comfort during extended use, while flip-up footplates with heel loops provide additional lower limb support. Equipped with push-to-lock wheel brakes and attendant hand brakes for improved control on ramps and slopes, the Tourer Transit Wheelchair supports safer caregiver-assisted mobility indoors and outdoors on level surfaces. Featuring solid quick-release rear wheels, front solid castors and a single cross brace frame for reliable stability, the wheelchair is crash-tested, transit approved and TGA approved for dependable everyday mobility assistance.
