Product Overview
The Unicare spinal board foam mattress adds a cushioning layer to a compatible spinal board for patient transport. Designed as a spinal board accessory, it provides a softer contact surface for patients who require clinically directed movement on a rigid board.
For nursing and patient handling teams, this foam mattress for spinal boards offers an option when additional cushioning is appropriate to the patient’s transfer plan. Its 1910 × 550 × 50mm dimensions help guide selection for the intended board, with fit and positioning considered alongside the patient’s support requirements.
Within hospital care, the mattress complements the spinal board setup during assessed transfers. Routine inspection of the foam and cover, together with cleaning according to the applicable care instructions, supports equipment maintenance and infection control. The mattress is supplied as an accessory; the spinal board is purchased separately.
