Product Overview
The Para Mobility Kingfisher is a battery-powered pool hoist designed to provide dignified access to swimming pools and spas for people who cannot use conventional entry methods. Its user-operated controls are suited to individuals with adequate upper-body control and the ability to complete a supported seat transfer.
A rechargeable 24 V battery powers the lifting action, while the floating hand control allows the user to raise and lower the seat. Load-bearing lift-up armrests assist transfers, and a lap belt supports positioning during movement. The seat folds for storage, and an optional transport trolley allows this patient handling equipment to be moved away from the pool when not required.
With a safe working load of 150 kg, the Kingfisher is suitable for private homes, rehabilitation pools, retirement communities and accessible leisure settings. The Australian-made portable pool hoist complies with AS 3581 and requires professional installation into a suitable concrete pool deck. User needs, transfer ability, deck dimensions and mounting position should be assessed before installation.
