Product Overview
The Unicare Portable Pool Hoist is a sling-based pool hoist designed to transfer people with limited or no mobility between a wheelchair and the water. Its lifting range extends from floor level to a maximum height of 2.1 metres, supporting controlled access to swimming pools and hydrotherapy environments.
A removable rechargeable battery powers the LINAK lifting system, while the 360-degree rotating arm allows the user to be positioned over the pool. Integrated safety features include an emergency stop, electric emergency lowering, a low-battery audible alarm and a charge indicator. Its nylon-coated stainless-steel structure is designed for use in aquatic environments.
With a safe working load of 185 kg, this patient handling equipment is suitable for private pools, rehabilitation centres, aged care homes and accessible aquatic venues. The unit is designed for straightforward assembly and removal, with recessed or surface-mounted base options.
