The Oxford Manual 4-Point Pivot Frame with Universal Weigh Scale combines patient positioning and weight monitoring in one practical patient handling equipment accessory. Its four-point cradle supports secure sling attachment, while the integrated digital scale enables clinicians to record a person’s weight during lifting—avoiding a separate transfer to conventional weighing equipment.
Using the cradle’s positioning handle, carers can adjust the person between seated and reclined orientations according to their assessed postural and transfer requirements. Oxford’s Securi3 clip attachment system helps prevent accidental sling detachment, supporting consistent safe patient handling in hospitals, rehabilitation services, aged care homes and supported living environments. The dual-screen scale can be read from either side of the hoist and its low-profile design preserves the available lifting height.
Designed specifically for the Oxford Presence and Oxford Stature mobile hoists, this accessory provides a versatile solution for patient transfers, positioning and ongoing weight observation. It must be used with a compatible Oxford clip-style sling selected through an individual assessment. The complete system’s safe working load is determined by its lowest-rated component, including the hoist, cradle, scale and sling.
