Product Overview

The Oxford Shallow 4-Point Yoke is a manual positioning cradle designed exclusively for the Oxford Advance mobile hoist. It replaces the hoist’s standard six-point spreader bar and enables the use of Oxford Comfort slings fitted with the Securi3 clip attachment system.

Using the cradle handle, carers can adjust a person between more upright and reclined positions while they remain supported during the transfer. Its four attachment points and secure clip system provide an alternative to loop-style slings, allowing patient handling equipment to be configured around individual postural support, comfort and transfer requirements.

The cradle is supplied with the components required for conversion to the Advance’s quick-release attachment system. Once fitted, however, its shape prevents the hoist from folding in its standard configuration. Sling compatibility and positioning must be clinically assessed, and all attachment points should be checked before completing patient transfers. The cradle can be cleaned using soap and water or a suitable hard-surface disinfectant.
