Product Overview
The Ansa Weigh Scale is a universal weighing module that enables a person’s weight to be measured while they remain supported by a compatible lifting hoist. With a capacity of up to 300 kg, it helps reduce the need for an additional transfer onto separate scales, making weight monitoring more accessible for people who require substantial physical support.
Tare functionality allows the weight of the sling and attachments to be excluded from the reading, while selectable kilograms and pounds support different clinical documentation requirements. Suitable for both yoke and pivot-frame attachments, the scale can form part of patient handling equipment used for ongoing weight observation in hospitals, rehabilitation services, aged care homes and supported living environments.
The scale is compatible with Allegro and Allegro Lite lifting hoists, as well as selected non-Allegro hoists subject to compatibility assessment. It is particularly useful where conventional weighing is difficult due to a person’s mobility or support needs. When incorporated into patient transfer equipment, the complete system must remain within the safe working load of its lowest-rated component.
