Product Overview
The Ansa Self-Powered Pivot Frame is a battery-operated hoist attachment that supports powered positioning of patients without drawing power from the lifting hoist. It allows carers to adjust a user between reclined and upright orientations, helping achieve appropriate upper-body support and seated positioning during transfers.
Positioning is controlled using a button on the pivot-frame handle, reducing the manual effort required to tilt the frame. Its independent, removable battery can be taken out for charging, making the accessory adaptable to compatible patient handling equipment without requiring a connection to the hoist’s electrical system.
The frame has a 200 kg safe working load and connects to pivot slings with white plastic clip or E-clip attachments. Non-absorbent polyurethane padding supports routine cleaning, while its universal design makes it adaptable to various lifting hoists used in hospitals, rehabilitation services and aged care homes. A separate version with an integrated weighing scale is also available.
